Thank you to Jenni McCarty Photography for sharing . . .
I have been working on putting together weekly photoshop recipes. . .
You may have figured this out already, but I love post processing. I love spending time in my digital darkroom with the music blasting in my headphones and then getting all sorts of creative. I think of it a bit like painting, just on the computer and with pictures.
I get asked all the time how I overlay skies, so I thought I would share a couple tips with you on how I photoshop a sky as well as offer a couple video tutorials below to further help you achieve a strong image with a sky overlay.
She captures true emotion in her images and pushes the boundaries on compositions.
Ok, so I will be honest with you. When I came across Kimberly Walla Photography, my heart leaped a bit and I couldn't stop scrolling through her pictures. There is so much life and beauty that she catches, you can't help but feel the emotion in her images. I know that you will leave this interview inspired to shoot and create.
Thank you, Kimberly, for taking the time to share your words and talent!
How long have you been shooting and what inspired you to begin with?
I’ve been shooting professionally for 2 years but I originally started shooting with a film camera in 2009 for an introductory photography class I was taking in University. I was majoring in visual art and planned to specialize in painting and drawing. Little did I know that I would take one photography class and be instantly hooked! In that class, we were required to make a flickr account and I just remember seeing all of these stunning photos come up in my flickr feed and thought, “I really hope that one day I can produce imagery that speaks to people the way these images speak to me.”
I'm excited to introduce Betsy Davis Photography! I have loved seeing her work recently and just had to give her a shout out. I hope you enjoy her work as much as I do and be sure to go Like her FB page.
I'm excited to share with you, Sonja Hammad Photography! Her work is dreamy, filled with light, and I am always excited when work shows up in my fb feed!
