How to Extract a Zip File

Some of the actions and overlays are located in zip folders to speed up the download process. These zip folders cannot be loaded straight into Photoshop or Lightroom as an error will occur.

To extract the files from the zip folder. Locate your ZIP folder that has most likely been downloaded to your "Downloads" folder by default. (For Mac users, go to Finder and then  Downloads folder is on the left side of the window.)

Click on the Zip Folder and select "Extract to" OR "Send To" and then save it to where you prefer to save it on your computer. (For Mac users, it will auto extract upon selection and will appear in the Downloads folder unless you copy the zip folder and save it to another location on your computer before extracting. )

For windows users, a popular free resource to extract zip folders is WinZip.
